Emphasis has been placed on developing a simple yet stylish sleeping experience at an affordable price. ‘Budget Boutique’ was one observer's comment. The restaurant is not your usual ‘hotel’ dining experience either. After the success of the Wine & Sausage at the White Hart in Winchcombe, we decided to bring this restaurant experience to Taunton. Specialising in real food, great and simple British dishes (not just sausages!) combined with a wine shop within a restaurant. Amazing wines, all sourced by Peter Austen from around the globe, wines to take away at a fraction of the usual price.

The Wine & Sausage – Restaurant, Bar & Wine shop

Opened  in October 2009 the Wine & Sausage replaces the Corner House's 4DQ restaurant. Since opening its doors, this Taunton Restaurant is going from strength to strength. Andrew James and his team are producing some wonderful British food.  Restaurant service is knowledgeable and attentive. As a hotel guest don’t be surprised to see the bar & restaurant filled with Taunton locals. Already renowned for its traditional Sunday lunch, the Wine & Sausage is now a regular venue for Taunton diners.
