Visit Dunster Castle and the beautiful village of Dunster.

How better to visit magnificent Dunster Castle than by a leisurely ride through the beautiful West Somerset countryside, hauled by a vintage steam engine? Arrive in style, at a pace that reflects the Castle in its early 20th Century heyday, with a special coach connection from Dunster station to the Castle entrance.  Enjoy a fulfilling visit to the Castle, with its fine interiors, stunning views to Exmoor and over the Bristol Channel.

The Dunster Castle Express runs every Wednesday and Saturday from 9th March to 2nd November 2013. The service departs Bishops Lydeard at 10.25 arriving at Dunster Station at 11.33. You will be transfered by courtesy bus to Dunster Castle and back. The return leg departs Dunster Station at 16.12 getting back into Bishops Lydeard Station at 17.19hrs.

The special coach connection will pick you up at Dunster Station and return you there in time for your return train.

Dunster Express Steam Railway Break includes accommodation, dinner, full English Breakfast and two return tickets from Bishops Lydeard to Dunster Castle including entrance into Dunster Castle.  Based on two persons sharing for a minimum of two nights.
